Henry Cavill Prepares to Say Goodbye to Geralt in 'The Witcher' Season Three Trailer - Watch Now!

Netflix has released a new trailer for The Witcher season three!

On Thursday (June 8), the streaming service debuted a brand new trailer for Vol. 1 of the upcoming season of the hit action-fantasy series starring Henry Cavill.

It was previously announced that this will be the last season that Henry, 40, will be playing Geralt of Rivia.

Here’s the synopsis for season three: “As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt (Cavill) takes Ciri (Freya Allan) into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line – or risk losing each other forever.”

It was announced back in October 2022 that Henry will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth for season four of The Witcher.

Vol. 1 of the third season arrives on June 29, and Vol. 2 follows on July 27.
